RWS centerfire rifle cartridges in calibre 7x57

The 7x57 is well suitable for distances of up to 200 m for medium-sized to lighter red deer and wild boar. It is also very popular as a roe deer cartridge because it guarantees a very good preservation of the game's meat

Although the famous professional hunter "Karamoja Bell" killed a large number of elephants with it under presumably ideal conditions, by modern standards it is neither a big game cartridge nor a cartridge for heavy, large game.

Mauser introduced the 7x57 in 1892. Originally, it was a military cartridge, which rapidly became very popular as a hunting cartridge as well.

This cartridge is also very pleasant to shoot with light rifles.
